CodeLabs · our charitable product

Giving young people the best shot.

CodeLabs is our charitable product, deployed in rural and low-income communities around the world to give young people the best possible shot at a future in technology. It is a course-based learning system.

What it is

Less syntax. More understanding.

Students write plain-English commands that behave like real programming ideas, so they learn how algorithms, data and systems work before any language’s syntax gets in the way. Twelve structured courses, built for complete beginners.

The CodeLabs learning platform

Fully offline

No reliable internet needed, so it runs where most platforms can’t.

Free for charities

Full platform, training and support at no cost to NGOs serving underserved communities.

Built for the AI era

Students learn the logic underneath the code, which carries over to any language later.
